For this project, we had the opportunity to bring three standout features together for one incredible client: a custom black walnut dining table, a furniture-inspired black walnut kitchen island, and a sculptural Venetian plaster range hood.
Three distinct pieces. One cohesive vision. And a client who is absolutely in awe of the finished result.
Here’s what made this project special.
Eight Feet of Black Walnut. Endless Possibilities.
There’s something about black walnut that never gets old. The rich tones, the natural grain, and the character in every board make it a standout material for custom furniture.
At eight feet long, this dining table was designed to make an impression while bringing people together. It’s the kind of piece that feels just as right hosting a holiday dinner as it does sharing an ordinary Tuesday night meal.

A Kitchen Island With Furniture-Like Character
Next up: the black walnut kitchen island.
Solid walnut, beautifully turned legs, and classic brass hardware give this island a timeless look that feels more like fine furniture than standard cabinetry.
